The Top 30 Rock Future Predictions That Actually Came True

You’ve heard about “The Simpsons” bizarrely predicting the future, but did you know “30 Rock” has a pretty good track record too?

“MILF Manor” – the new TLC show that’s gone viral – had many fans point out that the concept was clearly taken froma 2008 episode of 30 Rock. Only the series was called MILF Island.

“Holy hot mamas.”

Similarly, an episode may have also invented the former social media app Vine…

“He pioneered the concept of 10 second internet sitcoms.”

On the show, NBC gets purchased by Kabletown, which renames the iconic 30 Rock building. In real life, Comcast purchased NBCUniversal, renaming it the “Comcast Building”.

But maybe the most important of these “predictions” was the way 30 Rock inadvertently outed known abusers – Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby.

“In some ways, I’m still pinned under a passed-out Harvey Weinstein”

“Bill Cosby, you got a lot of nerve getting on the phone with me after what you did to my Aunt Paulette!”

And the writers have confirmed that this was no accident.
