Marlin, the overprotective “helicopter parent” fish of Finding Nemo (2003), learns over the course of the story to relax and let go of his excessive worry. A key scene in Finding Nemo illustrates that his journey isn’t simple or linear. By the end, though, Marlin finds a balance between being careful and carefree.
