The King of the North... or should we say the King Beyond the Wall, Kit Harington, is returning to HBO. This time, it appears there will be no swords in sight. The finance series Industry’s Season 3 introduces a brand new character, Sir Henry Muck, played by Kit Harington. His role will truly shake things up for this upcoming season.
Industry Season 3 has been long-awaited, considering the last season aired two years ago. This is becoming more and more common in television, with some series, like House of the Dragon, enjoying great success while others, like Stranger Things, create great annoyance among fans. Nevertheless, Industry has been welcomed back with open arms, especially because Harington will be gracing the screens.
What to Expect in Industry Season 3
Industry is about a group of young bankers navigating the sex and drug-fueled craze of an international bank, Pierpoint & Co’s London office.
Audiences should expect to be back inside the mix of the insane world of investment banking. This time around, Pierpoint will be looking to the future, taking big bets on ethical investing by getting more entangled with a green tech energy company, Lumi. This is where Kit Harington’s character comes into play. Lumi is run by British aristocrat Sir Henry Muck, who is described as having an “old money” persona. Together, Yasmin (Marisa Abela), Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung) must work together to combat this “threat.”
Who is Sir Henry Muck?
In Harington’s own words, his character is a “posh idiot,” and “he’s always had this safety net underneath him, so he doesn’t need to—he can sort of just be who he wants to be, and that’s not always the best thing,” Harington said. Despite the character being a bit of an obstacle in some ways, the cast has welcomed Harington with open arms. Myha’la, for instance, had nothing but positive words to say, stating, “Bringing Kit on was such a gift.”
Much of the cast from last season will be reappearing, including Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel, and Irfan Shamji. Besides Harington’s role, fans should also welcome newcomers Sarah Goldberg as Petra Koenig, Miriam Petche as Sweetpea Golightly, Andrew Havill as Lord Norton, Roger Barclay as Otto Mostyn, Fady Elsayed as Ali El Mansour, and Fiona Button as Denise Oldroyd.
