I’m excited for the audience to see and experience that.”
Cregan Stark Explained

However, the adaptation may depict his involvement differently. Sara Hess, Condal’s writing partner on the series, confirmed that Cregan might play a more background role in Season 2. She told EW, “Expect very little. Our POV is the Targaryens, and our POV is split between King’s Landing, Dragonstone, and then when Daemon goes to Harrenhal. We just don’t have the eyes to really be everywhere at the same time.”
