Following the Sony Pictures movies release of Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse, starring Shameik Moore as Miles Morales and Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy, fans have been left with hundreds of questions about the outcomes of plots and characters. - What is Miles fate?
After an lengthy journey across mutli-verses in an attempt to save his father, Miles becomes trapped on Earth 42. After a realization that Miles was sent to the wrong universe following the return of his deceased uncle Aaron Davis, he is sent unconscious and wakes up to his body restrained to a punching bag. Under the assumption that Davis is the Prowler, he begs to be let free and for Davis to change his ways. However, it is then revealed that Davis is not who Miles believes him to be, and as the actual Prowler descends from the window and removes his mask, the audiences reacts in awe upon the discovery that the true identity of the Prowler is a variant of Miles. This addition to the spider-verse saga leaves us on the edge of our seat as Miles remains trapped under the rule of his alternate self. As Spot approaches Earth 1610, audiences wait anxiously for the release of Spiderman: Beyond the Spideverse to finally learn if Miles will be able to escape and save his home.
- Who are the Sinister Six?
The Sinister Six is a fictional supervillain team who originated in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The group is typically comprised of six of Spider-Man’s most formidable enemies who join forces to defeat the web-slinging hero. In the case of Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse, the film teased the presence of new threat Doctor Octopus, alongside Mister Negative, Electro, Vulture, Rhino and Scorpion who are theorized to appear in the next Spiderman film.
- What is a Canon and can Miguel safely destroy it?
In the beginning Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse Miguel reveals to Miles that a canon event is an occurrence in a persons life that shapes who they are. This may include the death of a loved one, or in the case of Miles, being bit by a radioactive spider. He then proceeds to explain the significance of these events as crucial occurrences, in which if they do not take place, an individuals reality is shattered. In an effort to ensure canon events occur, an elite team of spider-people known as the Spider society, venture across multi-verses and fight against villainous figures who are attempting to shift life trajectories. Questions have risen following Across the Spiderverse’s release theorizing whether or not Miles’ will be able to break the Canon. Many critics and fans have come forward with their theories, often suggesting that he will eventually break Canon in an attempt to save his father…but will he be able to do so without severe repercussions.
- Where has the Spot travelled to so far and can he be stopped?
After discovering his ability to travel through the multiverse using black holes that formulate around him, Spot declares Miles his nemesis and decides to take revenge on him utilizing his new power. After constructing a Super Collider in which he uses to attach more interdimensional spots to himself he decides to confront Miles once again. While the advanced fighting capabilities of Spot prove to challenge Miles, it is important to note that Spot does not have an unlimited amount of interdimensional holes. With this in mind, it is only logical that if Miles is strategic enough to force Spot to utilize all of his holes during a fight, he may leave Spot entirely powerless and vulnerable to defeat.
