Lindsay Lohan is finally making a comeback! But wait – haven’t we seen this before? How do we know this one is the real deal?
We first fell in love with Lilo in 1998’s ‘Parent Trap’ – and watched her grow up onscreen – giving us beloved performances in cult classics like Mean Girls and Freaky Friday. And then…she disappeared from public consciousness. She had a sort of comeback with cheesy horror film I Know Who Killed Me. Another, on Ugly Betty. She even tried cracking acareer onstage.
Lindsay’s had attempted TV comebacks, movie comebacks, even music comebacks – so what’s different about this one? This time, everyone’s rooting for her. Fans were stoked to see her in a Super Bowl commercial earlier this year that poked fun at her former party girl lifestyle. We love it when a celeb reclaims their narrative. And now Vanity Fair is calling her Hallmark Christmas movie a certified hit, – and it’s raking in the views on Netflix.
Looks like this is finally the real Lilo comeback we’ve all been waiting for.
